Details of a meet-and-greet for Dave Reichert on August 5th in Kirkland are as follows. It would be wonderful if you or one of your colleagues could attend this event. It is scheduled the day before the Primary closes, so while we aren't expecting to influence the primary, we are preparing for the General Election.
Our new group is focused on bringing moderation to Washington. The extremes of both parties are forcing choices on the masses that don’t align with their needs. The parties officially represent the extremes and engage in politics for power rather than solving the problems facing the people. We aim to establish a grassroots movement to elect candidates who represent the people, not the extremes.
Having lived in Washington for four decades, I have witnessed a significant shift. Our state, once known for its natural beauty, is struggling in various aspects. We find ourselves at the bottom of the national rankings in safety, education, highways, and homelessness.
This is a call to action and a plea for change. (See below for details) It's time to reclaim Washington State. It's time for moderation. We're not just talking about change; we're making it happen. We're establishing the Western Washington Moderates, a collective committed to steering our state back on course, and we need your support.
